CITB Courses

A 1 day awareness course for those entering the construction industry for the first time or for those who are seeking to gain their CSCS Card, either after several years in the industry without formal qualifications or, in response to the various scheme changes as a route to gaining a trade specific card. Subjects include the Law, Fire, Work at Height and COSHH and there is a 20 question multi choice closed book exam which includes 3 Safety Critical questions, plus some short written questions at the end of the course, there are 30 marks available in total.

To achieve certification you MUST answer the 3 Safety Critical questions correctly and achieve 80% (18 out of 25), same day re-sits are allowed if required.

Duration: 1 Day (7 and a half Hours)

Qualification: CITB Certificate which is valid in conjunction with a Trade Specific CSCS Card which requires a relevant C-Skills Touch Screen Test to be passed.

Price: £125 plus VAT which includes CITB Publication GE707 Safe Start and certification.

A comprehensive 2 day course for those becoming Site Supervisors for the first time or for Site Supervisors who may have allowed their previous qualification to expire. An interactive course covering the Law, Fire, Work at Height, COSHH, PUWER and LOLER, Excavations, Confined Spaces etc., delegates must attend both days of the course and achieve over 72% in the one assessed exercise, an acceptable rating from their tutor and achieve 80% ,(24/30) in the final Exam which is in multi choice and written format, they must also answer 4 Safety Critical questions correctly to achieve certification.

Duration: 2 Day (15 Hours)

Qualification: CITB Certificate which is valid for 5 years

Price: £245 plus VAT includes CITB Publications GT700 Toolbox Talks and GE706 Site Supervision Simplified.

A 1 day refresher course to update the knowledge of Site Supervisors with existing qualifications which are due for renewal, the content is as per the full supervisors course but condensed into the 1 day available, an interactive course covering the Law, Fire, Work at Height, COSHH etc., delegates must attend both days of the course.

Delegates must achieve 80% ,(24/30) in the final Exam which is in multi choice and written format, they must also answer 4 Safety Critical questions correctly to achieve certification.

Duration: 1 Day (7 and a half Hours)

Qualification: CITB Certificate which is valid for 5 years.

Price: £170 plus VAT includes CITB Publications GT700 Toolbox Talks and GE706 Site Supervision Simplified.

A comprehensive 5 day course for those becoming Site Managers for the first time or for Site Managers who may have allowed their previous qualification to expire.

An course interactive covering the Law, Fire, Work at Height, COSHH, PUWER and LOLER, Excavations, Confined Spaces etc., delegates must attend all 5 days of the course, achieve an acceptable standard in four separate assessed exercises, an acceptable assessment rating  from their tutor and achieve 81% ,  (26 / 32) in the final Exam which is in two sections, there are 18 multiple choice format questions carrying 1 mark each and 7 questions requiring short written answers or selections carrying two marks.

Duration: 5 Days (37 and a Half Hours)

Qualification: CITB Certificate which is valid for 5 years.

Price: £495 plus VAT includes CITB Publications GE700/19  Construction Site Safety and supporting documentation pack XA6 which contains a Delegates Work Book and a number of Case Studies and relevant exercises and projects.

An interactive course covering the Law, Fire, Work at Height, COSHH, PUWER and LOLER, Excavations, Confined Spaces etc., delegates must attend all 5 days of the course, achieve an acceptable standard in four separate assessed exercises, an acceptable assessment rating  from their tutor and achieve 81% ,  (26 / 32) in the final Exam which is in two sections, there are 18 multiple choice format questions carrying 1 mark each and 7 questions requiring short written answers or selections carrying two marks.
